Live Well Project Completion

We are thrilled to announce that works completed December 2024 on transforming two vacant shop units in Middlesbrough’s Cleveland Centre into a thriving health hub –  a project that is already making a significant difference for local residents.

For fourteen years the two shop units stood empty. They have now been repurposed to accommodate vital services for the town which include mental health support, addiction recovery, sexual health services, and the South Tees smoking cessation programme. The Centre will also offer various classes to encourage healthier and happier lives, such as learning to cook, exercise classes held in the onsite fitness centre, and mindfulness classes including how to deal with depression.

The vacant units have been completely updated, offering a design that accommodates all users. The layout is straightforward and user-friendly, with interiors featuring soft lighting, natural materials, and generous spaces, creating a peaceful, private, and secure environment for everyone using the services. The centre ensures not only functionality but also a hub where visitors can feel cared for, supported, and motivated to improve their quality of life.

With the redevelopment taking place within the busy Cleveland Centre in the heart of town, our team took great care throughout to minimise the environmental and social impact of the project while still achieving the highest standards and quality of build.

It’s incredibly rewarding for us as a company to see how the health hub has come to life and is already making a positive impact within the community. It’s not just another commercial development, but a vital resource for the people who need it most. We are so proud to have been part of a project that will continue to serve Middlesbrough’s residents for years to come.
